Guess what? It’s officially blueberry season! 🫐

There’s nothing better than sweet, juicy blueberries freshly picked from a farm. I go blueberry picking every summer and I always end up bringing home more than I know what to do with.

After freezing half of what I pick, I usually make sourdough blueberry muffins. And let me tell you—the oat streusel topping? Absolutely delicious. You might want to make a double batch!

If sourdough bread is more your thing, I also have a blueberry lemon sourdough recipe on the blog. It’s a soft, naturally leavened loaf with pops of blueberry and a hint of lemon zest—perfect for toasting and slathering with butter or cream cheese.

  • Banneton - Helps support your sourdough during its final rise and gives it that classic shape.
  • Straight-Sided Proofing Container - Makes it easy to monitor your dough's rise and bulk fermentation.
  • Aluminum Muffin Pan - Great for evenly baked muffins with golden brown tops.
