Soft, moist, and bursting with fresh lemon zest and a hint of lemon extract—it’s a perfect way to use up your sourdough discard.
I love serving it simply with homemade whipped cream or sourdough ice cream and fresh berries.
And for summer parties? It makes an incredible layered trifle that always wows guests. (I’m planning a lemon berry trifle for the 4th of July this year!) 🍓🫐
