Hey Reader,
I know I keep talking about the snow, but… wow. This last storm was no joke. ❄️
Here in my part of Massachusetts, we ended up with over 30 inches on top of what was already on the ground. Tuesday was basically spent shoveling myself and the chickens out.
I was really grateful that I was only without power for about 36 hours. And that there wasn’t any major damage to my home. The chicken run, however, is definitely going to need some repairs come springtime.
Once the power came back on, it felt so good to get back into a normal rhythm. I spent time continuing to test my matcha sourdough bread recipe, and I made a thrift store run for the guest bedroom I’m slowly decorating.
Best find of the day: a vintage sewing box for $2.99. I was very excited!
After a week of being a little out of my normal routine, it felt really good to get back into the kitchen and make something homemade with sourdough. This week, I was all about quick and easy wins — and that’s exactly what I’m sharing with you today.
Five of my favorite sourdough discard recipes you can make and eat the same day.
I hope you try one (or all!) of them and enjoy! 💛
