I can’t start my mornings without a cup. I’ve been making pour over coffee in my Chemex for over 11 years now… and I finally cracked it on Wednesday. Totally my fault. I had it sitting too close to the burner. Oops!
But it’s already been replaced, and I took it as a good excuse to treat myself to a brand new water kettle too.
Speaking of morning drinks… this week I started working on a matcha sourdough bread recipe, and I’m kind of obsessed. It’s earthy, slightly sweet, and a super pretty green color. I’ll be sharing it on the blog soon — but tell me, would you try that flavor combo? 🍵🍞

And since it’s still cold and snowy here, I’ve been in full cozy mode. I spent some time setting up my guest bedroom, and I finally gave my sourdough Dutch oven a deep clean with baking soda.
