Hey Reader,
Have you ever rented a piece of heavy equipment and completely torn up your entire yard? Because that's exactly what I did last weekend π
Since my breakup last year, my friends have been helping me make my yard more manageable. I have about an acre of land, plenty of weeds, and a few drainage issues, so anything that makes maintenance easier is a huge win.
Last weekend, we dug a trench to bury the sump pump line (and accidentally broke the well line in the process... oops π¬) and cleared out a few areas that had been overtaken by weeds and old tree stumps.
It was a lot of work, but now those areas can be seeded with grass and mowed instead of constantly battling them.
This past year has really shown me how important it is to have a community and support system around you. I feel so lucky and grateful for my friends and neighbors who have helped me so much. β€οΈ
Even though parts of my yard are a bit of a mess right now, my garden is really starting to take off. I've got flowers blooming everywhere, and some of my vegetables are finally starting to form.
Between the garden starting to grow and blueberry season being right around the corner, I'm fully in summer mode over here. βοΈπ«
So today, I'm sharing five of my favorite sourdough blueberry recipes. I hope you give one (or all) of them a try and enjoy!
