Hey Reader,
Do you like going to see live music? If so, what's the last concert you went to? 🎶
Last Friday, my friends and I went to see Noah Kahan at Fenway Park in Boston, and it was amazing! We were right up front and had so much fun singing and dancing along. But now that I'm 37, my feet were definitely aching by the end of the night, and getting home at 1 AM was rough. 😆
The rest of my week was spent outside, as usual. I harvested my garlic crop (72 heads in total!), and it's now curing in my basement alongside my shallots. I also rented a backhoe, and with the help of some friends, we finally got my yard completely graded. Now comes the hard part... watering and patiently waiting for the new grass to grow.
One of my favorite things I made this week was a garden-inspired sourdough focaccia topped with cherry tomatoes and lots of fresh herbs from my garden. It turned out so pretty and tasted even better! I shared some with my neighbors, and they loved it too.
So this week, I'm sharing that sourdough focaccia recipe with you! Don't let the high hydration scare you. Focaccia is actually one of the most forgiving breads to make, and those big, airy bubbles are absolutely worth it.
I hope you give it a try and enjoy! ☺️
